The central driving force in this context is represented by those people who stand behind the Hirt brand and our products, and who contribute to the existence and further development of the company day after day with Hirt passion. And we're proud of that. From our brewers to the employees in administration, in the warehouse, in the laboratory and in logistics, to the culinary professionals who spoil our guests day after day in our Hirt shops and in the Hirt brew cellar – Hirt Private Brewery lives because of its employees. When so many different personalities, crafts and professional know-how come together, the result is a truly special diversity. And although the respective requirements and tasks could not be more different, there is one thing that unites all of us at Hirt: genuine passion. And we are convinced that it is precisely this genuine passion that makes a profession a vocation.

Our passion for the Real Thing runs through the entire creative process, from the harvesting and processing of the raw materials, through the brewhouse work, to the bottling of the finished Hirt beer specialities. That's how this passion finally becomes a beer the whole world can taste.
Challenges are part of every workflow, and that's a good thing because thanks to them we have continuously progressed and surpassed ourselves over the centuries. We attribute this primarily to the way we approach challenges: namely, together as a family team. This tangible, inner bond among all those involved is an essential prerequisite for constant, quality-orientated further development and has kept our traditional company alive for over 750 years. Real Beer needs real passion
Our employees and their families have been closely connected to the Hirt brewery for many generations. It is thanks to their craftsmanship, professional know-how and subtlety that a unique variety of Hirt beer specialities has been created over the past 750 years. These also include our special dark beer creation: Hirt Morchl. Characteristic of our fine dark beer are a rather dry entry and an unusually slender, delicately bitter finish.
